Day Sailing – Anegada

Anegada is one of our guests’ favorite destinations, and it’s easy to see why. The low lying atoll with its long white sand beaches, exquisite shallow water diving, fabulous local lobster meals coming right off the grill coupled with its laid back pace all bespeak a quieter time and place. Our voyage starts from our dock at Leverick Bay at 8:30 in the morning. Depending on the wind, we have a sparkling sail across the 15 mile stretch of sapphire blue water or a quiet motor. We arrive in time for a quick dive before lunch ashore at one of the excellent restaurants. The afternoon is spent exploring the island, diving wonderful Loblloly Bay Beach, or just relaxing. We set sail about 3:30 p.m. and return to our dock at Leverick Bay in time to enjoy the sun setting behind Mosquito Island and the Dogs Islands to the West. Be assured the day spent sailing to Anegada will be in your memory for a long, long time.
